Recently i read Buddha, is a manga [Japanese Comic] drawn by Osamu Tezuka and is Tezuka's unique interpretation of the life of Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism

Lovely story in 8 volumes. Very simple yet explains everything. Please note that this book is not for kids but for adults only. If you know about other manga characters of Tezuka such as astroboy & black jack you will enjoy more in certain scene in the book.
